It is tray framed in a wonderful light-weight wooden frame. 60x60cm, depth: 3cm.
 
I knew I wanted to capture as much of the reality as I could but also create something not quite real. The teal represents calm when the figure is struggling to find it. I love the juxtaposition.

The figure is in pain but for me they are gaining control again, it’s close, the pain is almost behind them. My goal is to highlight the emotional pain that we all feel and to connect you with your own as well as connecting with me as an artist. I hope you like this piece. X
