This painting is called ‘LET ME BE’ a piece inspired and created from a photo by photographer Paweł Brzezinski. Their work is incredible so do check it out. This pose immediately spoke to me. Firstly the composition is so intriguing but also the pose and the expression of the model portray such a feeling of sadness that I wanted to paint her to try and understand what she was thinking. I’m still not entirely sure but I have my own opinion. I hope you find it as interesting as I do.
