This painting is a sequel of sorts to a previous painting of mine, ‘Everything Will Be Better in the Morning.’ In this piece, painted from a wonderful photo by @lo.vero , I wanted to show that the protagonist of the painting made it till morning and is going to be ok. The title itself is taken from a poem by Robert Herrick (Corinna’s Going a-Maying) and is about renewal. That’s the meaning behind this painting and its predecessor.
The painting is protected with a high gloss varnish.
