This one is a study of a larger painting. I went more colourful with it and loved how it came out. It’s painted from a photo by @lo.vero which I was instantly drawn to. The expression is melancholy but the light shining into the room feels like it represents a new beginning. The main painting ended up having much more natural tones but I love that this is a strong image in its own right.
